CHINESE NAME of Acupuncture point K6:
Zhaohai, Zhao means to shine; hai means sea; qi means to cry. The point pertains to the Kidney Mer. and the Qi is abundant as the sea. It means that the real Yang of the Kidney may illuminate the whole body.
LOCATION of Acupuncture point K6:
One inch bellow the Internal Malleolus. 0.5 -0.8 inches deep.
INDICATION of Acupuncture point K6:
Headache, dizziness, breast infection, hypochondria pain (pain in the lateral aspect of chest), paralysis after stoke, malaria, numbness in the limbs, food pain etc.
HINT for All Acupoints:
You should feel sour or numb, but Not knife-cut like pain when pressing. The acupoints are usually between or beside the bones and tendons or ligaments, on a depression, never on the bones or blood vessels.
