It obtained an award in the 82nd Salon International Invention (A.I.F.F.) in Paris, France and an Invention Certificate from the China Invention Association in 1991. TESTING & CERTIFICATION of Smoker's Herbal Aroma Nasal Inhaler This herbal quitting liquid was tested by the Guangxi Provincial Department of Health, P. R. China in 1986 and was found to meet the standards required for such a product. The product standard number is Q/L QB 101-86, Guangxi, P. R. China. The Acute Toxicity and Respiratory Test done by the Guangxi Regional Pharmaceutical Inspection Bureau showed PH = 6.8 and the results indicate that the product is virtually nontoxic. The Safety Test done by the Hong Kong Standards & Testing Center Ltd. showed the following results: Arsenic (As) = 0 (Gutzeit method) / Standard is less than 10 ppm; Lead (Pb) = 30 ppm* (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry) / Standard is less than 40 ppm*; Mercury (Hg) = 0 (Cold vapor technique) / Standard is less than 1 ppm. The conclusion is that this product meets the health standard and is safe for sale to the public. * Another test in Guangxi, China (standard # GAI Q/G.QB157-85) showed: Pb < 5 ppm. * Note: food and medicine standards are different from drinking water. FDA standard for food is "Various" depending on different foods. The General Test Reports were issued also from Guangxi Pharmaceutical Inspection Laboratory, Guangxi Testing Center, Guangxi Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
